Abstract
Opazovali smo igro v napadu v sezoni 2016/17. Zanimalo nas je, kakšen je celostni pristop ekip v vseh podfazah napada. Hkrati smo želeli predstaviti metodične korake, ki omogočajo učenje in treniranje želene igre. V diplomsko delo smo zajeli 4 moštva (AS Monaco, Atletico Madrid, FC Juventus in CF Real Madrid) ter si ogledali 27 tekem. Z diplomskim delom želimo omogočiti razvoj nogometa in slovenski nogometni stroki približati evropsko raven igre.

Title:Learning how to attack in soccer based on watching teams in Champions League knockout stages
Abstract:
The subject of this thesis was to analyse and present the modern characteristics of the attack tactics of teams appearing in the Champions League (season 2016/17). We were interested in the overall approach of teams in all sub-phases of the attack. At the same time, we wanted to present the methodical steps that enable us to learn and train the desired play. In the thesis we covered 4 teams (AS Monaco, Atletico Madrid, FC Juventus and CF Real Madrid) and watched 27 matches. Due to the large number of matches played by every individual team in one European season, we focused only on the knockout phase (from the round of 16 to the finals). We analysed technical-tactical solutions and football elements of a group of players and entire teams. Based on the analysis, we created typical playing situations using the program Tactics Manager. With the help of the program Soccer Sketch we then found and designed suitable exercises. The goal and purpose of the thesis was to present the usefulness of the gaming situations of the Champions League semi-finalists, to present the basic methodical steps and game methods that serve to form an attack strategy and to solve situations in the attack phase. We wanted to provide future students and trainers with concrete solutions to solve problems with the attack strategy, and at the same time present modern attack strategies of the best European teams. With the thesis, we want to enable the further development of football and bring the European game level closer to the Slovenian football profession.
