Abstract

The present thesis deals with the analysis of the John Fowles' novel Magus with help of psychoanalysis by Carl Gustav Jung. It questions concepts such as truth, freedom and love, and gives a detailed analysis of persona, Anima, and castration complex as they are reflected in the novel Magus.
