Abstract
Najprej podamo razloge, zakaj so kljub relativni starosti tehnologije še vedno priljubljeni v snemalnih studiih in s katerimi problemi se uporabniki srečujejo.

Title:
Digitally Controlled Analogue Equalizer
Abstract:
In this thesis we demostrate the process of creating a software program that controls a custom designed analog studio processor i.e. an equalizer. First we reveal why despite the technology being decades old it is still popular in recording studios and the problems that users face. Then we propose the solution of digital control and the custom circuit boards that are the foundation for our software program. We only present the creation of software and not the underlying hardware. The finished system uses proprietary potentiometers and switches that allow the user to both control the parameters by using the instrument's front panel and reading, saving and controlling the unit from a computer program. We also show how this equalizer can be used via the internet.
