The aim of this thesis is to identify the hazards of working with cleaning agents and disinfectants in the food industry. I identified the hazards on the basis of the safety data sheets, by reviewing the organisation's procedures for the use of these substances and by using the web-based application E-tool on hazardous chemical substances to produce a hazard assessment for the company. Based on the hazards identified, I have determined the adequacy of existing measures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment and, where necessary, supplemented or added measures. The task is based on three commercial products used as cleaners and disinfectants in the food industry.
