The starting point of the thesis focuses on understanding the relationship between an object and its placement within an exhibition. The act of placement encourages modifications of the introduced elements and consequently raises new questions. In my writing, I will draw on key concepts: exhibition, prop, system, autonomy, control, and try to position them within my own practice. I will approach the exhibition medium from the perspective of a total installation, focusing on its reversible relationship with the object. I will take into account the presence of the viewer, time, space, and variability, while placing the object as a decentralized element that constructs the image. I will focus on the background of content production and the narrative that mirrors through a specific project during the placement process. I will discuss the exhibition and projects from the perspective of systematization or system-building that justifies and establishes such behaviour. A key element becomes control and/or its loss.
