The article is dedicated to Slovene as a foreign language as perceived by the public. Usually contact with Slovene as a foreign language is made through noticing billboards on the street or when shopping, reading headlines or short news items in magazines or newspapers. We use the linguistic characteristics of these texts for didactics. On the basis of their own experience with studying Slovene, Martina Erhart and Štefan Oraže, mentored by Elizabeta Jenko, developed an educational game to teach and learn morphological and syntactic patterns of Slovene.
