Would you support painting with a colour, obtained from food, with the idea that the colours are natural, harmless and they allow the activation of all senses or would you express disagreement because of the worldwide hunger? In the master thesis, I explore the opinions of various profiles of people who are experiencing artistic creativity, regarding the controversial use of food for the purpose of artistic expression. I included an overview of the works of contemporary Slovene and foreign authors using food as a tool or as a fine art technique and studied their thinking and the purpose of integrating food into their artistic expression. I outlined the problem of discarded food, how the Slovenian primary schools are tackling it and, on the other hand, the multisensory nature offered by this kind of creation.
