In the thesis, we analysed and evaluated amendments of three Acts, which were adopted in the field of spatial management, in the period of independent Slovenia: the Spatial Management Act (ZUreP-1, 2003), the Spatial Planning Act (ZPNačrt, 2007) and the Spatial Management Act (ZUreP-2, 2017). We examined and compared the role of Spatial Acts in the Spatial Management System, we introduced the content and form of Municipal Spatial Acts for a specific Act, and carried out an inter-comparison of Municipal Spatial Acts according to content and form. With the comparison, we tested the thesis that the content of the Municipal Spatial Act is becoming modest with every Act and that the form of the Spatial Act is adopting to the digital data and available technology. We could not completely confirm or reject the thesis since the ZUreP-2 is still not implemented and there are no available Rules about the exact form and content of Municipal Spatial Acts. The thesis was only partly confirmed that the content is somewhat modest according to the ZPNačrt in relation to the ZUreP-1, and the form remains considerably similar.
