In MA thesis I am researching reality and non-reality in film. I am exploring what defines reality
and how it is constructed in film. I explain how non-reality became a part of the film and how
is it complementing reality in film. I touch the meaning of representation in film and its power
of influencing the viewer. Music is important part of the film, so I list its role as an element of
reality and non-reality in film. Practical part of the MA thesis in short film titled Breathe, from
the beginning, which presents the story of a young woman composer, who suffers from fear of
failure and troubled relationship.
