The master's thesis analyses fashion development, clothing size labels, sustainable fashion and multifunctional garments. Even though it is practical and necessary to mark clothing with size labels for fast purchase and fast mass production, nowadays more and more garments appear that do not apply to size labels. The first part of the thesis deals with the differences between high fashion and ready-to-wear fashion and its development. While researching and planning my collection I devoted myself to sustainable modes whose concept is based on quality rather than quantity of the product. Since a modern woman needs airy, comfortable and elegant clothes, my collection ONIX is designed in such a way that it allows several fashion styles. It is created in only one size with a hint of the grunge subculture. The purpose of the thesis was to plan and manufacture garment collections accessible to women in shops or on the web, such as fashion brand Rose Moth.
