In this diploma thesis we will examine a building that is located in the RS, more precisely in the settlement of Preddvor. The building was built in three different periods. The consequence is the diversity of structural assemblies, construction methods used and defects inside protective construction layers. Analysis of current building state will be performed. The analysis will cover the existing state of the structural assemblies, analysis of the protective layers of the building against water and moisture, an analysis of soundproofing against external noise and an analysis of the energy efficiency before and after proposed renovation. The acquired data will serve as input for reconstruction of the existing situation. The complete renovation of the building will take into consideration the currently applicable legislation. Examined will be relevance of the proposed renovation in terms of energy efficiency and heat transfer characteristics of construction details according to the PURES 2010 rule.
We consider also at two more rules, Rules on the protection of buildings against moisture and Rules on protection against noise in buildings. All proposed measures will be aimed at preventing the existing problems and enabling high quality of living after renovation of the building. Solutions to existing deficiencies using various materials will also be presented. Proposed comprehensive renovation will focus on providing a comfortable interior climate for living and ensuring the energy efficiency of the building.
