Abstract

Title:Leksičeskoe opisanie glagolov, ukazyvajuščih na sostojanie tela i izmenenie ego položenija v prostranstve
Abstract:
The master's thesis deals with the lexical description of verbs describing the physical state and the change of position in Slovene and Russian. The basis of the analysis of meanings is represented by the following verbs: sedeti - sidetʹ, usesti se - sestʹ, ležati - ležatʹ, uleči se - lečʹ, stati - stojatʹ, vstati - vstatʹ, čepeti - sidetʹ na kortočkah, počepniti - sestʹ na kortočki . The verbs that are the base of the analysis are taken from two dictionaries (Dictionary of Slovenian Literary Language, 2014 and Dictionary of Russian language, 1981). The aim of the master's thesis is to look within each individual lexeme, each and every Slovene meaning, and to assimilate the meanings in Slovene and Russian, to determine whether the individual meanings are related and whether the hierarchy of meanings is the same in both languages. The use of lexical meanings is analyzed using the parallel corpus ParaSol, the set of verbs relies on the Russian original M. A. Bulgakov's: Master and Margarita and it's Slovenian translation. In the selected corpus text, we are verifying that the lexical meanings in the translation are preserved, whether they match in use, and what meanings of the verbs appear the most in the selected text.
