Abstract
V GIS okolju smo potek in ostale značilnosti poti (tip kolesa, vrsta podlage, dolžina, zahtevnost, čas, označenost) vnesli v podatkovno bazo, kjer smo jih ustrezno popravili, uredili in kategorizirali.

Title:Overview and analysis of data of cycling paths in Slovenia : master thesis
Abstract:
Cycling paths in Slovenia are organised on different levels and suggested by different providers. Information about cycling paths can be found in many online and physical sources, which are distinguished by quantity and quality of data and by the way they are presented. On the level of Slovenia, the data is unorganized, insufficient, out of date and in many cases it doesn't reflect the real situation in nature. Since more and more cycling paths are created and the information about them published in different places, the overview and selection of a suitable one became a difficult task for cyclists. As part of the thesis, we conducted the most extensive survey to date on a level of the entire country and collected data from around 120 different web and physical resources for more than 800 cycling paths. In GIS environment we collected courses and other paths characteristics into database (bicycle type, surface type, length, level of difficulty, estimated time, marking of paths), where data was appropriately corrected, organized and categorized. Because of non-unified methodology for determination of values or more specifically data from different sources being incomparable, we also computed some of the characteristics of paths on our own. For the conclusion, a quality analysis of the database using and presenting final results with tables and cartographic visualisations was made.
