Slovenska priredba in razumljivost vprašalnika O z dokazi podprti praksi v fizioterapiji

Uvod: Z dokazi podprta praksa je definirana kot vestna, natančna in razumna uporaba trenutno najboljših znanstvenih dokazov pri odločanju o oskrbi posameznega pacienta. Je proces, s katerim se oceni kakovost dokazov, preden se jih uporabi pri obravnavi pacienta. Koncept z dokazi podprte prakse je v zadnjih dveh desetletjih pritegnil veliko pozornosti. Namen: Namen diplomskega dela je bil prevod angleškega vprašalnika o z dokazi podprti praksi v fizioterapiji v slovenščino. Metode dela: Pri prevodu smo upoštevali faze smernic za medkulturne priredbe, prevod iz angleščine v slovenščino (štiri osebe), prevod iz slovenske različice nazaj v angleščino (ena oseba) in pilotska raziskava (10 oseb). Končna verzija v slovenščini je bila določena na podlagi združitve vseh štirih prevodov v slovenščino. Končna verzija je bila poslana 10 fizioterapevtom v praksi, ti pa so z ocenami od 1 do 5 ovrednotili razumljivost, enostavnost, jedrnatost in časovno sprejemljivost vprašalnika. Rezultati: Sodelujoči so za izpolnjevanje vprašalnika v povprečju (standardni odklon) potrebovali 516,5 (± 221,3) sekund. Razumljivost vprašalnika so fizioterapevti ocenili s povprečno oceno 3,5, enostavnost s povprečno oceno 2,8, jedrnatost s povprečno oceno 3,1 in časovno sprejemljivost s povprečno oceno 2,5. Razprava in sklep: Rezultati so pokazali, da je prevod vprašalnika razumljiv, vendar vsebinsko in časovno nekoliko preobsežen za hitro pridobivanje informacij.

• Title: Slovenian adaptation and applicability of evidence-based practice in physiotherapy questionnaire

Abstract

Introduction: Evidence-based practice is defined as conscientious, thorough and judicious use of current best evidence when making decisions about the care of an individual patient. It is a process with which we can evaluate the quality of evidence before it is used with patients. The concept of evidence-based practice has gained a lot of attention during the past two decades. Purpose: The purpose of the thesis was the translation of the English questionnaire regarding the evidence-based practice into Slovene. Methods: The translation considered the phases of guidelines for intercultural adaptations, the translation from English to Slovene (four people), the translation from the Slovene version back to English (one person) and the pilot research (10 people). The final version in Slovene was selected on the basis of combining all four translations into Slovene. The final version was sent to 10 physiotherapists in practice. They marked how understandable, simple and concise it was and whether it was acceptable regarding the time it took to complete. Results: On average (standard deviation) 516.5 (± 221.3) seconds were needed to complete the questionnaire. The physiotherapists marked understanding of the questionnaire with the average mark 3.5 and simplicity with the average mark 2.8. Conciseness was marked with the average mark 3.1 and time acceptance was marked with the average mark 2.5. Discussion and conclusion: The results have shown that the translation of the questionnaire is understandable, but also too extensive in content and in length for the purpose of fast extraction of information.
