The master thesis compares two manuscripts on Antichrist: Antichrsta Shiullenie ali Lebn Antechrista from 1767, the oldest known manuscript on Antichrist in Slovene language, and Shiulenje, regierenga inu smert Antikrista from 1790. The two manuscripts contain the same text, but differ significantly in linguistic characterics. Both of them originate from Koroška region, which makes them interesting for comparison. I focussed mainly on three subjects: continuity and distinction of writing, the influence of dialect and written Slovenian language of that time in the field of phonology and morphology, and the impact of German language. The idea comes directly from the younger manuscript, which is supposed to be a better version of the text concerning German and dialect influences.
