Abstract
Katalog je učinkovit način za promocijo in predstavitev podjetja ali blagovne znamke. V današnji digitalni dobi, kjer informacije običajno pridobivamo iz spleta in digitalnih medijev, ima tiskani izdelek še posebno velik čar, zato se podjetja kljub prednostim predstavitve kataloga v digitalni obliki, kot je npr. zmanjšanje stroškov, odločajo za tiskani katalog, ki ga ponudijo svojim strankam. Diplomsko delo obravnava celoten postopek izdelave produktnega kataloga, od načrtovanja in oblikovanja do tiska in grafične dodelave. Prvi del temelji na teoriji in opisuje proces načrtovanja, zbiranja materiala, način učinkovite predstavitve izdelkov oz. storitev, ter programsko opremo, potrebno za izdelavo. Drugi del je praktični in predstavlja potek izdelave produktnega kataloga za podjetje Butik tiskovin.

Title:Creating a product catalogue
Abstract:
Catalogue is an effective way to promote and present a business or brand. In today's digital age, where information is usually obtained from the web and digital media, a printed product has a particularly great charm, so despite the advantages of digitally presented catalogue, such as for example cost reduction, companies still decide to offer their customers a printed catalog. The diploma thesis presents the entire process of product catalogue creating, from planning and design to press and postpress. The first part is based on theory and describes the process of planning, material collecting, effective product or service presentation and the required software. The second part is practical and represents the production process of Butik tiskovin's product catalogue.
