Abstract
V diplomskem delu opisujemo aktivnosti implementacije brezžičnega modula RN171 v elektronsko vezje, ter ostala elektorska vezja povezana z merilnikom in shranjevalnikom podatkov (DL). Celoten sistem naprav deluje po principu interneta stvari (IoT). Opisana je posodobitev programske opreme in protokol za delovanje brezžičnega modula RN171. Komunikacija brezžičnega modula RN171 z DL poteka preko serijskega vodila (UART). Za prototipno delovanje smo izdelali električno shemo vezja, tiskano vezje in vzpostavili delovanje brezžičnega modula RN171 ter se povezali z internetno dostopno točko

Title:Wireless sensor system for environmental data monitoring
Abstract:
In diploma thesis we describe the activities of the development and implementation of the wireless module RN171 in the electronic circuit, and the other electrical circuits that are connected with the meter and the data logger (DL). The whole system of devices works according to the principle of the Internet of Things (IoT). A software update and a protocol for operating the wireless module RN171 are described. The communication of the wireless module RN171 with DL is via the universal asynchronous receiver-transmitter (UART). For the prototype operation, we developed an electrical circuit diagram, a printed circuit board and we established the wireless module RN171 connected with to the internet access point.
