Izdelava teme za sistem za upravljanje vsebin WordPress

V diplomskem delu je predstavljen postopek izdelave stilske predloge za sistem za urejanje vsebin WordPress na osnovi predložene celostne grafične podobe (CGP). Cilj izdelave predloge je omogočiti enostavno upravljanje s spletno vsebino tudi tistim uporabnikom, ki niso vešči uporabe spletnih tehnologij in programiranja. V nalogi so predstavljeni različni sistemi za upravljanje vsebin (CMS) in vzrok, zakaj so postali tako razširjena in priljubljena orodja. Opisane so funkcionalnosti, ki jih premorejo vsi sodobni CMS-ji in nekaj osnovnih pojmov, na katere naletimo pri upravljanju z njimi. V praktičnem delu naloge je opisan postopek izdelave lastne stilske predloge. Prvi korak opisuje pripravo osnovne statične spletne strani, ki se nato pretvori v stilsko predlogo za WordPress. V zaključku je predstavljen kratek povzetek dela s sistemom WordPress, lastna izkušnja na tem področju in nekaj idej za nadaljevanje dela.

• Title: Development of a theme for a WordPress Content Management System

Abstract

This thesis describes the procedure of making a theme for WordPress, a content management system based on graphic user interface. The goal is to allow a more simple way of managing web based content (CMS) even to users who are not skilled in the use of web technologies and programming. In the thesis are presented various content management systems and the reasons for their widespread use and popularity. The thesis describes various functionalities of all modern CMSs as well as some of the more basic concepts that are used when working with them. The practical part of the thesis describes the design and implementation process of a new custom theme for WordPress. The first step describes the preparation of a static web page which is then transformed into a theme for WordPress. The conclusion contains a short summary of working with WordPress along with my own personal experience and ideas for further development of this work.
