In this Bachelor thesis, we introduced the program package FME Desktop (angl. Feature Manipulation Engine) which is used for joining, connecting and processing spatial data taken from various sources. The program package consists of the programs FME Workbench, FME Data Inspector and FME Quich Translator. The contents of the thesis are divided into the theoretical and the practical part. In the theoretical part, we described the basic tools for the work in the program package FME Desktop. We demonstrated and described the overview of the contents of the programs FME Workbench, FME Data Inspector and FME Quick Translator of the main desktop. We also demonstrated the functioning and usability of the programme tools by various study cases.
