Abstract
Namen diplomskega dela je medpredmetno povezovanje računalništva in matematike. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili medpredmetno povezovanje, neopiagetovo teorijo kognitivnega razvoja in programski jezik Scratch. Nato smo opisali matematične koncepte, ki se pojavljajo v Scratchu in jih morajo učenci poznati, da lahko začnejo z izdelavo zahtevnejših projektov. Predstavili smo tudi učne cilje iz učnih načrtov za matematiko in neobvezni izbirni predmet računalništvo za 4. razred. S pomočjo teh ciljev smo nato umestili aktivnosti iz kartic Ready – Steady – Code: Numeracy with Scratch, v ustrezen razred v slovenski osnovni šoli. Kartice vsebujejo veliko idej, kako medpredmetno poučevati računalništvo in matematiko. V empiričnem delu diplome smo predstavili izvedbo dveh učnih ur pri računalništvu v 4. razredu. V teh dveh urah so učenci izdelali kviz z vprašanji iz poštevanke in na koncu ure utrjevali poštevanko. S tem so spoznali tudi koncepte iz računalništva, kot so spremenljivke, naključna števila, zanke, vhodno-izhodne ukaze in pogojni stavek.

Title:Numeracy with Scratch
Abstract:
The purpose of this diploma is the cross-curricular integration of computer science and mathematics. In the theoretical part of diploma, we presented cross – curricular integration, neopiaget's theory of cognitive development and the programming language Scratch. Then we described the mathematical concepts that appear in Scratch and students need to know to be able to make more demanding projects. We also presented the learning goals from mathematics and computer science curricula for 4th grade. With the help of this goals we installed activities from Ready – Steady – Code: Numeracy with Scratch cards to the appropriate class in the Slovenian Elementary School. This cards contain a lot of ideas on how to teach computer science and mathematics together. In the empirical part of diploma we presented the implementation of two classes in computer science in the 4th grade. During these two hours, students made a quiz with questions from multiplication and this way they improved their multiplication skills. They also learned concepts from computing, such as variables, random numbers and conditional statements.
