Abstract

Title:The role of strigolactones in the development of adventitve root system
Abstract:
Adventive root system represents the roots that develop from the non-root tissue. That may happen due to the usual formation of plants or they develop in response to the environmental stress (flooding, nutrient deficiency, tissue damage). Environmental stress is precisely the factor, which, among other things, in the processes of vegetative propagation (regardless of the propagation method) causes the formation of the root system in new plants. Phytohormones such as auxinis, ethylene, jasmonic acid in strigolactones play an important role in the formation of AR. Strigolactones are phytohormones that are important in the formation of plants, in symbiotic and parasitic relationships between plants in other organisms. Strigolactones play an important role in the formation, growth in the form of AR. They have a detrimental effect on the architecture and density of the ARF, which means that they influence the smaller number of replacement roots that are less elaborate. Strigolactones have a positive effect on the process in the rhizosphere because they allow interactions between the host plant in the fungus. The action of strigolactones depends on their synthesis, transport and concentration. Strigolactones act primarily in association with auxins, where the effect is dependent on the concentration of both hormones. In the diploma thesis is summarized sexual and asxual propagation of plants, physiological processes during the formation of the AR and the role of plant hormones, especially strigolactones in the formation of the adventious root formation.
