Many new researches are working on testing new woood based composites, by adding various natural materials. One of the most used materials is hemp, whose usefulness we researched in this thesis. We produced particle boards, in which we substituted a fraction of the wood particles with hemp particles and/or fibers. The testing of final boards suggests, that the best composite has an outer layer made out of wood particles, and the core made out of 50 % wood and 50 % hemp particles.
