Many times the health staff feels uncertain, doubt themselves and their knowledge, which all affects their approach to the grieving parents. A nurse should not be afraid to communicate with the parents and, most importantly, they need to listen and provide the holistic approach to the grieving family. It is also important that experts from different medical fields, who work with grieving parents, cooperate. With the holistic and individual treatment of grieving parents alongside the right support and understanding, they could positively influence the process of mourning.
