Abstract
Zasnova glasbenega studia zahteva poznavanje akustične karakteristike prostora.

Title:Modeling the sound field in a small space
Abstract:
In order to design a music studio, it is necessary to know the acoustic characteristics of the room. Reverberation timeT_60, with which we confirm the appropriate functionality of the room plays a big role in this. The results obtained with measurements and calculations provide a good base for further space construction. Reverberation time of the room was calculated with Sabina and Eyringa equations, with simulation of the impulse response in comsol multiphysics software and by measuring the sound pressure when white noise is present, when bursting a balloon and when clapping with hands. Based on the results we can predict the actions necessary for reduction of reverberation time.

Keywords:sound, standing wave, direct and reflected sound, reverberation time T60, absorption coefficient, the finite element method, meshing
