Abstract
Sledili so testi uporabnosti z obstoječimi uporabniki izdelka Chipolo. Izvedeni so bili intervjuji, testiranci so morali opraviti osem preprostih nalog.

Title:
User experience testing when redesigning the application Chipolo for Android platform
Abstract:
The purpose of this thesis is a detailed presentation of the development and testing of the Chipolo mobile application for the Android mobile operating system. The aim of the process was to ensure an optimized user experience when using the application, with tests implemented to further determine where additional improvements might still be necessary. The theoretical part of the thesis presents the user experience and its importance in the development and testing of the product. The theory also presents the elements that should be taken into consideration during the development of a mobile application, along with a description of the types of tests and methods that are used while testing a mobile application or product. Numerous researches carried out in the field of user experience are presented, as well as an insight into the world market of similar applications, showing user reviews. The research part of the thesis first presents the programs that developers and testers use to ensure the development process and testing are as transparent and simple as possible. This is followed by a thorough insight into the revised design of the Chipolo application and the specific button functions. The next section deals with usability tests executed with existing users of the Chipolo product. Interviews were conducted where users were given eight simple tasks that they needed to perform. Our task was to observe what the users first noticed while performing these tasks. Additional focus was given to how intuitive the application seemed and whether the buttons in the app were positioned so that the users instinctively knew how to perform the task at hand. The results of these tests allowed for suggestions on how certain parts that presented the users with the most challenge could be improved further.
