Abstract
Povezava filma in gledališča je zagotovo zelo posebna in tesna. Film se je namreč na nek način rodil iz gledališča. Vsaj v prvih letih je bilo gledališče tisto, ki je opredeljevalo njegov razvoj. Zasluga za prepoznavanje posebnosti medija gre nekaj filmskim ustvarjalcem in posameznim avtorjem, ki so odkrili, v čem je film drugačen od gledališča. Prav zaradi te drugačnosti se je film ločil od gledališča in postal samostojna oblika umetnosti. Namen diplomskega dela je preko pregleda razvoja filma in gledališča prikazati njuno tesno povezavo že od samega začetka. Avtorica se pri tem opira na dejanske poustvaritve, ki so se jih lotili svetovno znani ustvarjalci. Zaradi njegove ekspresivnosti v režiji in pripovedovanju zgodb avtorica bolj poglobljeno analizira tudi delo režiserja Quentina Tarantina. Skozi raziskave in analize poskuša del gledališčne predstave Blazinec pretvoriti v film. Pri tem ugotavlja, kako gledališke elemente povezati s filmskimi in jih podkrepiti v slogu Quentina Tarantina. Končni cilj diplomskega dela je izdelava kratkometražnega igranega filma Blazinec, ki sledi stilskim smernicam omenjenega režiserja in poveže metode filma ter gledališča v zaključeno celoto.

Title:Between movie and theatre Quentin Tarantino style
Abstract:
Link between a film and a theatre is certainly special and close. In a sense, the film has been originated in the theatre. The theatre has been defining the development of the film, at least in first years of its existence. Recognition of differences between the film and the theatre has happened by the medium's modern features, a few film creators’ and an individual authors’ merit. Due to these differences, film has separated from the theatre and has become an individual form of art. In a theoretical analysis of this diploma thesis are described development of a film and a theatre; additionally, initial links between a film and a theatre are researched. Author supports herself on actual re-creations which have been set by world-known creators. Author precisely analyses the work of Quentin Tarantino due to his expressiveness in direction and his storytelling skills. Author tries to convert a part of the theatrical performance Blazinec into the film, to establish how to link theatrical and film components and how to substantiate these features into Quentin Tarantino's style. As a part of the director's visual overview, based on his style directives, author tries to hand the final product of this diploma thesis – short feature film Blazinec.
