For every product set on the market, quality is very important and quality also has a big meaning for packaging in the pharmaceutical industry. The control that is implemented into processes has huge importance because they ensure the quality and safety of pharmaceuticals contents from external influences. With control of assembly before printing we can prevent potential printing errors. This thesis presents the errors and inaccuracies of electronic control in pharmaceutical packaging set by the program Pixel Proof. The purpose of the thesis is to implement research that will provide clear results about errors and inaccuracies of the packaging. In addition to the research carried out, there is also the execution of the process of preparing the installation in Prinect system. In the practical part of the thesis, there are descriptions of preparing processes of installation made in the Prinect system and then electronically screened in Pixel Proof. A key part of the thesis is a survey of randomly selected errors on the packaging, which were fully, partially or weren’t detected by the program Pixel Proof. In the theoretical part there are described and presented topics that are theoretically already researched and presented in the field; printing, graphic development and adjustment, the manufacture of the printing form, quality and control. It also presents the requirements of suitable graphic materials and the importance of Braille, for the pharmaceutical industry. Beside the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry and the process of developing packaging, there are also descriptions of the programs that are most commonly used and that were the most used during the research. The aim of the thesis is successfully carry out the research, which will present and demonstrate results with which you will be able to help the company when using Pixel Proof and its sensitivity.
