Abstract
Otroci se vsakodnevno spogledujejo z matematiko in prav je, da jo približamo na njim razumljiv način. Ker se otrok uči celostno, se področja večinoma med seboj prepletajo, povezujejo. Prav povezovanje različnih vsebin in področij pa je dobro izhodišče za vseživljenjsko učenje, saj posnema realne življenjske situacije. Kurikulum za vrtce zajema šest področij: matematiko, gibanje, jezik, umetnost, družbo in naravo. Pričujoče diplomsko delo predstavlja matematične vsebine v povezavi z drugimi področji kurikuluma. Teoretični del zajema razvoj predšolskega otroka, učenje v vrtcu, projektno delo, pristop Reggio Emilia in medpodročno povezovanje. V empiričnem delu je predstavljen potek projekta mozaik. Namen projekta je bil raziskati, ali lahko otroci s projektnim delom pridobijo matematična znanja na področju vzorcev in v kolikšni meri ter kako participirajo v projektu. Prav tako je bil namen skozi različne dejavnosti predstaviti povezovanje različnih kurikularnih področij.

Title:Project mosaic in kinderkarten
Abstract:
Mathematics is an integral part of children's everyday life and our task is to present it to them in ways that are easy to understand. As children's learning is holistic in its nature, the curricular areas are mostly interconnected and intertwined. It is the integration of different contents and areas that is a good starting point for lifelong learning, as it mimics real life situations. Kindergarten curriculum covers six areas: mathematics, movement, language, art, society and nature. The dissertation presents the mathematical content in conjunction with other areas of the curriculum. The theoretical part covers the development of preschool children, learning in kindergarten, project work, Reggio Emilia approach and cross-sectoral integration. In the empirical part, it presents the progress of the Mosaic project in kindergarten. The purpose of the project was to investigate whether children acquire mathematical knowledge in the field of samples through project work and to what extent, and how they participate in the project. Also, the purpose was to present the integration of different curricular areas through a variety of activities.
