ANALIZA IZDATKOV SLOVENSKIH FAKULTET ZA PODROČJE INFORMACIJSKO-KOMUNIKACIJSKIH TEHNOLOGIJ

Fakultete niso imune na vlaganje v informacijsko-komunikacijsko tehnologijo. Če želijo trgu ponuditi usposobljene in konkurenčne diplomante, ki bodo na trg prinesli svežino in novo znanje, morajo vlagati tudi v informacijsko tehnologijo in letno usposabljati ter seznanjati svoje zaposlene z novostmi, da bodo to znanje lahko prenesli na študente. Vlaganje v informacijsko-komunikacijsko tehnologijo je pomembno tudi z vidika organizacije, saj le-to omogoča bolj organizirano strukturo fakultete, kar se kaže v boljšem poslovanju in posledično tudi v boljšem izobraževanju. Osrednja tema diplomske naloge je prikaz sredstev, ki jih fakultete letno namenijo za informacijsko-komunikacijsko tehnologijo, in sama struktura teh izdatkov, zato sem vse izdatke v povezavi z IKT razdelil v pet različnih skupin za lažje primerjanje. Analiziral sem izdatke devetih fakultet s treh največjih slovenskih univerz, ki ponujajo podobne študije, tako da sem lahko medsebojno primerjal univerze kot tudi same fakultete. Podatke sem pridobil iz dveh podatkovnih zbirk, in sicer Poslovnega registra Slovenije, ki je v domeni AJPES-a in v kateri so zbrana vsa slovenska podjetja, ter Supervizorja, s katerim upravlja KPK, ki hrani transakcije, ki so jih opravile javne institucije oziroma podjetja v lasti države in občin. Analiziral sem podatke za obdobje petih let, in sicer od leta 2009 do 2013. V Supervizorju sem za izbrane fakultete pregledal vse njihove izdatke in iz njih izluščil tiste, ki so povezane s podjetji, ki se ukvarjajo z IKT, za kar mi je bil v pomoč Poslovni register Slovenije, v katerem so navedena vsa registrirana podjetja in njihova glavna dejavnost, s katero opravljajo. Pridobljene podatke sem analiziral glede na število zaposlenih na fakulteti in skupno število vpisanih študentov na vse smeri v vse letnike za določeno leto, torej za študijska leta od 2008/09 do 2012/13.

• Naslov: ANALYSING THE EXPENDITURES OF SLOVENIAN UNIVERSITIES FOR INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY

Izvleček

Universities are not immune to investments in information and communication technology. If they want to offer to the market a qualified and competitive graduates who will bring freshness to the market and new knowledge, they must also invest in information communication technology and annualy train and familiarize their staff with the innovations so that this knowledge can be passed on to students. Investing in information communication technology is also important from the perspective of the organization as investments allow for a more organized structure, resulting in improved performance and consequently better education. The central theme of this thesis is presentation of the expenditures that selected departments at Slovenian universities annually devote to information and communication technology. I analyze the structure of these expenditures, and for easier comparison, I clustered them into five different groups. The analysis includes nine departments of the three largest Slovenian universities that offer similar studies so that I can compare universities as well as their departments. I obtained data from two databases, first was the Business Register of Slovenia, which is in the domain of AJPES and which contains all Slovenian companies, and the second one was as The Supervisor database managed by the Slovenian Commission for Prevention of Corruption, which keeps the transactions carried out by public institutions or enterprises owned by the state and municipalities. I analyzed the data for a period of five years starting from the year 2009 to 2013. In the Supervisor I took all the expenditures made by chosen faculties and selected only the ones that were related to companies engaged in ICT. I found them in the Slovenian Business register that lists all registered companies and their main field of activity. Acquired data was than compared with the number of employees of the selected departments and the total number of students enrolled in all study fields for a given academic year in the period from 2008/09 to 2012/13.
