This master thesis deals with possibilities of cascading exploitation of geothermal energy. We have performed a scheme for technical solution of district heating system in which the geothermal energy in the first cascade would be used for heating living areas and business premises and the geothermal energy in the other cascade for heating greenhouses. Based on this, we have performed an evaluation of impact on the environment compared to the present state and an economic analysis of the project for various possibilities of establishing district heating system in which the selling price of heat for the end user was defined as a result. We have found out in which way the establishment of district heat system is sensible in order to exploit the geothermal energy available in the analysed place in the most effective way possible and consequently lower the heating costs for the residents. At the same time, comfort, life and air quality in the winter are improved.
