Abstract
Evropska unija se je zaradi vse večjega problema z onesnaževanjem okolja zavezala, da bo zmanjšala količino emisij toplogrednih plinov. Velika količina le teh je proizvedena zaradi neučinkovite rabe energije. Tudi Slovenija si kot članica EU prizadeva za zmanjšanje celotne rabe energije. Zaradi tega smo si za diplomsko nalogo izbrali poslovno stavbo, za katero smo s pomočjo programov DesignBuilder in EnergyPlus izračunali potrebno moč hladilnega agregata, korist njegove potencialne zamenjave z novim agregatom in preračunali ukrepe za zmanjšanje celotne rabe energije. V drugem poglavju smo izvedli tri ukrepe, katerih energijsko in ekonomsko učinkovitost smo preverili. Rezultati ukrepov so pokazali, da s pomočjo le teh zmanjšamo rabo toplote in hladu. Izračunali smo rentabilnost predlaganih ukrepov in vračilno dobo investicije. Ugotovili smo, da se investicija v ukrepe ne bo hitro povrnila, vendar bo stavba energijsko učinkovitejša, kar bo zmanjšalo vpliv na okolje.

Title:Energetic and Economic Advisability of Implementing Measures for the Old Office Building
Abstract:
Due to the growing problem with pollution has European Union committed to reduce the amount of emissions of greenhouse gasses. Big amount of them is being produced as a result of inefficient use of energy. As a member of EU, Slovenia is pursuing reduction of total energy consumption as well. For this reason, we have as a project of our thesis chosen the business building TR3, which is located on the Republic Square in Ljubljana. Using the programs DesignBuilder and EnergyPlus, we have calculated the required power of the chiller, the benefit of its potential substitution with the new one and the measures for reduction of total energy consumption. In the second section we have implemented three measures and have hereinafter reviewed their efficiency. Results have shown that with the use of these regulations we can more or less reduce the use of heating and cooling energy. At the end of thesis, we have calculated profitability of the regulations and payback period of the investment. We have concluded that the investment into regulations would not be fast repaid, nevertheless would the building be more energetically efficient and its environmental impact would be lower.
