The Orange environment includes data mining widgets that can be easily
linked to obtain the desired analysis workflow. On the other hand, the UN
Comtrade is a huge database on trade between countries, where it is possible
to find out how the selected countries traded among themselves in a certain
period of time. We have designed a library for accessing UN Comtrade data
via the REST API and implemented Orange widget, which enables us to
obtain the desired data in the form of a data table, which allows us to carry
out further analysis. By implementing a widget, we enable easy access to
information on trade between the countries through the user interface in
Orange and with this we enabled data mining of trade information.
