Reform of public sector covered also a tax system. We are interested in the functioning of financial management of Republic of Slovenia to taxpayers. This problem was analysed several years ago. It is about analysis of measures, which help with bigger effectiveness of financial authority, and in this way, taxpayers are more informed. We examine the factors, which affect in satisfaction of taxpayer and service quality of financial management. Our objective is to realise if awareness is bigger today or they are satisfied with the work of financial authority. Thesis work was divided in two different parts on theoretical and practical. On theoretical part I helped myself with different domestic and foreign literature and resources available online. In research work I used the survey method. The biggest problem I have seen was unresponsiveness of people. Based on relationship employers to customers, information and work of financial authority we can define satisfaction and infirmness of the taxpayers in Slovenia. Conclusion was that awareness of taxpayer is bigger today due to activities of FURS which was completed in the last time.
