Abstract
Namen diplomske naloge je bil poiskati čim boljšo inženirsko rešitev v skladu s pravilniki za izboljšanje prometne varnosti na križišču R2 419-1204 in LC 394011 ter poiskati ukrepe in naprave za umirjanje prometa na odseku R2 419-1204. Z opisom problemov na omenjenem odseku in križišču sem izluščila bistvene pomanjkljivosti in težave, ki se tu pojavljajo. S štetjem prometa v križišču sem prikazala njegovo obremenjenost in s pomočjo tega izbrala rešitvi rekonstrukcije križišča. Ukrepe in naprave za umirjanje prometa v okolici pokopališča in na križanju R2 419-1204 z LC 395032 sem določila na podlagi ustreznosti glede na kategorijo ceste, uspešnosti zmanjšanja hitrosti vozil in števila prometnih nesreč. S pomočjo pravilnikov sem opisala glavne pomanjkljivosti na omenjenem odseku, ki zmanjšujejo prometno varnost in končne odločitve, ki so sedaj del rešitve diplomske naloge. Na koncu sem s programom AutoCAD izrisala gradbene in prometne situacije na mestih, kjer sem izboljšala prometno varnost na omenjenem odseku.

Title:Measures for Improving Traffic Safety on the Road R2 419-1204 and at the Crossroads with LC 394011 : Graduation thesis
Abstract:
The purpose of the bachelor's thesis is to find the best engineering solution in accordance with the regulations for improving traffic safety at the crossroads of R2 419-1204 and LC 394011, as well as to find devices for traffic calming measures on the section of R2 419-1204. By describing the problem on the aforementioned section and the crossroads, I highlighted the essential deficiencies and difficulties which occur thereat. By counting traffic at the crossroads, I showed that the crossroads is overburdened and used the figures to choose the solutions for the reconstruction of the crossroads. The devices and traffic calming measures in the vicinity of the cemeteries and the crossroads of R2 419-1204 and LC 395032 were determined on the basis of their suitability as regards the category of the road, efficiency in decreasing the speed of vehicles and the number of traffic accidents. By using regulations, I described the main deficiencies on the aforementioned section which decrease traffic safety and the final decisions which are now part of the bachelor's thesis. Then I used AutoCAD software to draw the construction and traffic situations at the locations where I improved traffic safety on the aforementioned section.
