Vključenost slovenskega naravoslovja v Web of Science in Scopus : magistrsko delo

Namen naloge je bil raziskati zastopanost in citiranost slovenskega naravoslovja v dveh najbolj uveljavljenih bibliografskih zbirkah - Web of Science (WoS) in Scopus. Za obdobje petih let smo analizirali objave 90 raziskovalcev s področja naravoslovja, ki so imeli največ točk po podatkih SICRIS. V raziskavi smo analizirali objave in citate slovenskih raziskovalcev. SICRIS je povezan z zbirkama WoS in Scopus, kar nam je omogočilo vpogled v citiranost raziskovalcev v teh dveh zbirkah v obdobju od leta 2010 do leta 2014. Ugotovitve analize so pokazale, da imajo raziskovalci večje število citatov v revijah indeksiranih v zbirki Scopus. Ravno tako smo naredili primerjavo vrednosti h-indeksov med zbirkama WoS in Scopus. Ugotovili smo, da večje število točk v SICRIS ne pomeni nujno višjega h-indeksa.

Abstract

The aim of this work was to investigate the presence and citations of Slovenian science in the two most important citation databases WoS and Scopus. For a period of five years were analyzed the publication of 90 researchers from the fields of natural science, who have maximum points in SICRIS. In this study, we analyzed the publications and citations of Slovenian researchers. SICRIS is related to collections WoS and Scopus, which gave us an insight into citations of researchers. For every researcher in the field of natural science, registered in SICRIS, were verified the number of citations in the period from 2010 to 2014. The findings of the analysis have shown that researchers reached a larger number of citations in the Scopus database. Likewise, we have made a comparison of the value of hindex of citation collections WoS and Scopus. It was noted that some researchers with a smaller number of points in SICRIS have higher value of h-index of those researchers with the highest number of points in SICRIS.
