Abstract

Title:
Improvement of ventilation with latent heat storage
Abstract:
In master's thesis analysis of ventilation improvement with phase change materials storage in ventilation system with solar collector has been presented. Short description of solar energy system as source of heat generation has been provided. Overview of solar collectors and heat storages with focus on phase change thermal storages has been described. Measurements in heating season were performed on experimental set-up which were the basis for validation of computer model of phase change thermal storage. Computer model was developed by the group of researchers from Brno University of Technology. With program tool TRNSYS simulation of experimental system in heating season were performed. From obtained results of simulation operation and effectiveness of ventilation system were analyzed. It was found out that phase change thermal storage increases average temperature of air for ventilation.
