The purpose of the diploma thesis is to present professional production of live TV broadcasts and how to transfer this professionalism on amateur productions. If we ask someone what he or she understands if we say the word television broadcast, he or she usually says that this is a large studio with a lot of expensive equipment and a large professional team. That was the real picture some time ago, because the equipment was very expensive. However, now we are creating a new picture with new technologies and faster Internet. In the era, when our television can have its own Internet connection, live streaming has become quite normal. Instead of Slovenian TV 1 program, we connect to YouTube website and watch online streaming video from the International Space Station.
The goal of the diploma thesis was to record a live broadcast with professional equipment in the video studio, to know different platforms, how they work and what they need to function properly, and finally to broadcast from a desktop computer and mobile device.
The diploma thesis presents an overview of the professional and amateur television productions with all participants. In the experimental work, the tools, which we used for filming, and what is needed for a successful live streaming video are presented. The final result (a live broadcast) is presented with sketches, screenshots, and photos.
