Znižanje stroškov legiranja z uporabo statistične kontrole procesa

Abstract
V sodobnem jeklarskem svetu vlada na trgu velika konkurenca. Če hoče podjetje preživeti, mora jekla, za katera izdelavo se je specializiralo, izdelati čim bolj kvalitetno in s čim nižjo ceno. Pogoj za to je dobro obvladovanje vseh procesov izdelave končnega izdelka, med katere spada tudi legiranje pri izdelavi jeklene taline, ki vpliva na ceno procesa. Jeklarski standardi, tako evropski kot ameriški, so pri predpisovanju kemijske analize ohlapni. Za legirne elemente v izbrani vrsti jekla predpisujejo dokaj široke analizne meje. Razpon načrtovanih mejnih vsebnosti legirnih elementov lahko zožimo in centriramo okrog načrtovane srednje vrednosti, ki čim bolj limitira k spodnji meji analiznega predpisa. Na ta način izdelamo jeklo z nižjimi vsebnostmi legirnih elementov, ki se vse še vedno nahajajo v predpisanih analiznih mejah za posamezen legirni element. Stroški legur in procesa legiranja se tako znižajo, posledično pa je nižja tudi cena končnega izdelka. Analizo obstoječega stanja procesa legiranja, ožanja in centriranja procesa ter določitev čim nižje načrtovane srednje vrednosti za posamezen legirni element in vrsto jekla smo izvedli s standardnimi statističnimi metodami.

Title:Reduction of alloying costs with usage of statistical control process
Abstract:
Today's steel market is extremely competitive and in order to survive a company needs to produce high quality steel at the lowest possible price. This can only be achieved by mastering all processes of steelmaking, including alloying, which has a big impact on the total production cost. Both European and American steel production standards are rather vague in terms of chemical analysis and the prescribed analytical ranges for alloying elements are quite wide. The range of planned threshold contents of alloying elements can be narrowed and centred around the planned mean value, which should gravitate toward the lower limit defined in the analytical prescription. That way we can produce steel with a lower alloy content while staying within the prescribed analytical ranges for individual alloying elements. As a result, the alloying process becomes less expensive and, consequently, also the end products. We have used standard statistical methods to perform the analysis of existing alloying processes, narrowing and centring, and to determine the lowest possible planned mean values for given alloying elements and types of steel.
