Abstract
Uspeh v judu zahteva visoko raven telesne priprave in specifičnih gibalnih sposobnosti. Cilj diplomske naloge je bil ugotoviti povezanost morfoloških značilnosti in njenih asimetrij na gibalno učinkovitost judoista. Predstavili smo zgodovino juda in njegov razvoj v Sloveniji. Opisali smo različne načine merjenja telesnih značilnosti in specifične gibalne učinkovitosti judoista. Statistično značilnost smo ugotovili le v primeru korelacije SJFT indeksa in skeletne mišične mase (p = 0,036).

Title:Connectedness between the results of special judo fitness test and chosen morphological characteristics
Abstract:
Success in judo requires high level of body shape and specific physical abilities. The goal of this graduation thesis was to discover the correlation between morphological characteristics and their asymmetry with specific movement efficiency. We presented the history of judo and its development in Slovenia. We described several ways of measuring morphological characteristics and specific movement efficiency. The sample consisted seven judokas with national and two with junior class by the criterion of Olympic committee of Slovenia. With the 3D body scanner NX-16 (TC²) and InBody 720 (Biospace, South Korea) devices, morphological characteristics were measured. Data was than compared with the results of special judo fitness test, which shows movement efficiency of judoka. The chosen data of morphological characteristics and results of movement efficiency test were processed with Microsoft Excel and IBM SPSS 21.0 statistics programs. With processed data we determined the impact of each parameter on specific judo fitness test result. We found statistical significant differences only in correlation between SJFT index and skeletal muscle mass (p = 0,036). We found that efficiency of judoka is lower if fat mass is larger and bigger if skeletal muscle mass is larger. Asymmetry has positive effect on competition efficiency on top class players in several sports. We wanted to know the effect of asymmetry on efficiency in judo. We found that variables of proportions between left and right side of human body are not statistical significant, but suggest that in judo specific asymmetry is needed.
