What messages does a product convey to buyers when they enter a drugstore to buy cosmetics? How can a visual element tell effectively and which elements help people understand the content of a product? Good promotion of a product is one of the key forces in communicating with the audience, and if the goal is achieved, the audience can be converted into customers. All design elements, colour, and display contribute to the understanding of a product and of promotions which advertise the product. Promotional materials should present a product properly, since these materials are often the main factor which convinces a costumer to buy a product.
The present Master’s thesis deals with the design of promotional material for natural organic cosmetics Hydranox. Its purpose was to explore the field of competition in the marketplace and, on the basis of the findings, to create a responsive web page, adaptable to all devices, to create a sales brochure, a cosmetic advertising stand, personalized cards for each product of the Hydranox line, and carrier bags. The thesis explains all design parameters, theoretical explanations, and the whole process of design. It is established how the brand will behave, what kind of message will be transmitted, and whether the presentation of the products will be successful.
