The core of this master's thesis represents the institute of border arrangements between immovable properties in Slovenian law. The current legislation provides that the border, or a part of it, can be arranged in two different ways: via administrative procedure or/and via court procedure. Accordingly, the master's thesis is systematized in a way that the two of the largest chapters adress and discuss the two mentioned procedures. Before that, the author opens with a general introduction followed by a presentation of Slovenian land cadastre, in which he describes the land cadastre's origins and creation, its development, today's regulation, its content and all the problems that occur due to the land cadastre's features and properties. Following, the thesis consists of a brief description of the general provisions on good neighbourliness and a description of the legal relationship between the administrative and court proceeding about immovable property's border arrangement.
The author adresses the institute of border arrangements between immovable properties both from theoretical as well as from a practical point of view. Accordingly, in addition to the presented legislation, each chapter consists of relevant and adequate case law and other practical tools. In this way, the author wants to present the institute to the extent that allows a comprehensive understanding of border arrangement procedures.
