Thesis talks about the role of educator in the child's free game. I was wondering to what extent educators, as a more knowledgeable partner engaging in child's play, and thus rise to the next level. I've been watching the behavior of the educators and assistant educators employed during the child's free play and their possible inclusion in the game.
In order to better understand their views on the role of educator in the child's free game, I also conduct a short survey. The main purpose of the survey was to find out how educators typically plan a free game, how often are they included, how they feel about integration, and be aware of its role as the mentally more developed partner in the game thanks zone of proximal development, mentioned by Vygotsky’s theory.
Findings have shown that educators are not aware of their role in its entirety, because it believes that it is a lot better off if kids in the game we let ourselves. In the game are included only if they were invited.
