Abstract
Dom in vrtec sta družbeni instituciji, ki se z vzgojno-izobraževalnim delom otrok ukvarjata najbolj celovito in vsestransko. In to je tudi razlog, da medsebojno sodelujeta. Starši in vzgojitelji skrbijo, da je otrokov razvoj kompleksen in kakovosten ter da je prav tak tudi otrokov napredek (Nendić in Črv, 2012). V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela sem najprej opredelila pojem družina, ki je otrokovo primarno okolje. Predstavila sem pomen družine za predšolskega otroka ter navedla oblike, naloge in njene funkcije. Kot otroku drugo pomembno okolje sem opisala vrtec. Kako je organizirana predšolska vzgoja v naših vrtcih, katera so načela, cilji in temeljne naloge vrtcev. Predstavila sem, zakaj sta vrtčevsko in družinsko okolje pri vzgoji predšolskih otrok pomembna ter kako vrtec vpliva na otrokov razvoj. V zadnjem poglavju teoretičnega dela sem pisala o usklajenosti vzgojiteljev in staršev pri vzgoji predšolskih otrok. V empiričnem delu diplomskega dela sem s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika raziskala, kaj je po mnenju staršev in strokovnih delavcev naloga vrtcev in katerim oblikam sodelovanja dajejo večji pomen. Zanimalo me je, katere vrste pomoči ponuja vrtec staršem in če jih starši izkoristijo. Namen raziskave je bil tudi ugotoviti, kako strokovni delavci v vrtcu uresničujejo idejo o vrtcu kot dopolnjevanju družinske vzgoje. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da starši in strokovne delavke vrtca menijo, da so naloge vrtca ravno tiste, ki so zapisane tudi v Zakonu o vrtcih. Največji pomen dajejo formalnim oblikam sodelovanja, in sicer najbolj pomembne se jim zdijo govorilne ure in roditeljski sestanki. Z raziskavo sem ugotovila, da po mnenju strokovnih delavk vrtec nudi veliko različnih oblik sodelovanja, v katere vključuje starše, vendar marsikaterih se starši ne poslužujejo, oz. so mnenja, da jih vrtec premalo vključuje in upošteva. Izkazalo se je, da večina staršev nima nobenih težav pri sodelovanju z vzgojiteljem ali z vrtcem ter da strokovne delavke na različne načine uresničujejo idejo o vrtcu kot dopolnjevanju družinske vzgoje.

Title:
Help of kindergarten to family
Abstract:
Home and kindergarten are two social institutions that are involved with the education process of children in the most complete and versatile way. This is the reason why they mutually cooperate. Parents and educators make sure that the child's development is complex and of good quality and that the progress of the child is just the same (Nendić and Črv, 2012). In the theoretical part of the thesis I first defined the concept of family, which is the child's primary environment. I presented the importance of the family for a preschool child and specified forms, tasks and its functions. I described preschool as the child’s other important environment. In what way is early childhood education in our preschools organized, which are the principles, objectives and basic tasks of preschools. I presented why both preschool and family environment play an important role in the upbringing of children and how preschool can affect the child's development. In the last chapter of the theoretical part I wrote about the coordination of educators and parents in the upbringing of preschool children. In the empirical part of the thesis I used a questionnaire to investigate the view of parents and expert workers' on the mission of preschools and which forms of cooperation are among the more important ones in their opinion. I was interested in the types of assistance that are offered to preschool parents and if the parents take use of these assistances. The purpose of the survey was to determine how expert workers' pursue the idea of preschool as a complement to family education. The results of the research have shown that both the parents' and the expert workers' opinion is that the tasks of preschool are just those that are recorded in the Pre-School Institutions Act. In their opinion the formal forms of cooperation are of greater importance, the most important ones being office hours and PTA meetings. The results have also shown that according to expert workers preschool offers many different forms of cooperation which include the parents, but many parents do not make use of them. The parents’ opinion on this matter is that preschool is lacking in this area. The results have shown that most parents have no problems cooperating with the educators and preschool, and that the expert workers their ideas of preschool in different ways as a complement to family education.
