Abstract
Diplomsko delo predstavlja potek in evalvacijo projekta ustvarjanja spodbudnega učnega okolja s pomočjo nestrukturiranega materiala in predmetov iz narave v skupini prvega starostnega obdobja v vrtcu. V teoretičnem delu sem predstavila teoretična izhodišča o učenju. V tem sklopu sem zajela poglavja o aktivnem učenju in vlogi vzgojitelja pri ustvarjanju aktivnega učnega okolja, procesno-razvojnem načrtovanju, učenju in o igri v predšolskem obdobju. V okviru empiričnega dela sem predstavila projekt, v katerem sem otrokom ponudila različen naravni material. Predstavila sem pomen načrtovanja in dokumentiranja vzgojitelja. Raziskovala sem, katere učne izzive bo igra z naravnim materialom otrokom prinesla. Želela sem ugotoviti, kako najmlajši otroci raziskujejo in s tem pridobivajo izkušnje s pomočjo naravnega materiala. Pomembno za ta pristop je, da je otrok ves čas aktiven udeleženec v procesu učenja. Materiali otrokom omogočajo možnost učenja in različne simbolne igre. Odrasli mu le zagotovijo možnost za dejavnosti in priskrbijo materiale. Ves čas so otrokom le v podporo; njihovo igro pozorno spremljajo in jim na osnovi opažanj postavljajo nove izzive. S projektom sem ugotovila, da se je razvijala domišljijska igra, otroci so se igrali individualno, v parih, skupinsko, krepili so domišljijo, več so se pogovarjali, manj je bilo konfliktov, uresničevali smo cilje na vseh področjih kurikuluma.

Title:Stimulating learning environment in the first age group in kindergarten
Abstract:
The Diploma explains, describes and evaluates project of creating stimulative educational environment with assistance of non constructive materials and objects from the nature in group from 2 to 3 years old children. My Master Thesis is composed of theoretical and empiric part. In theoretical part I have represented fundamentals and basics of educational, learning processes. In this segment I have included chapters: Active learning and the educators role in creating of active learning environment, development planning process, learning and playing in preschool period. In empirical part I have presented, introduced research project (practical example) in which I have offered to our children various nature materials (materials from nature). I have showed, proved, presented how important, crucial is teacher role in planning and documenting process. I have researched what kind educational challenges will bring to children while playing with natural materials. I wanted to establish how the youngest children explore and gain experiences by playing with natural materials. Its very significant, important, crucial in this approach that children are active participants in question educational process (in the process of learning). The materials give to children different options of learning and playing with various natural materials. The educator provides, ensures chances, possibilities for numerous activities and we must provide materials. We support children, their game is closely monitoring. Based on observations we raise new challenges for the children. We support children. Their game is closely monitoring and based on observations we raise new challenges for the children. Through project I have established the development of children’s imagination. Children were playing individually, in pairs, in groups, have strengthened their imagination talked more, and there were less conflict. We have implemented the goals in all areas of the curriculum.
