The thesis presents the establishing of a surveying network for the setting out a building using GNSS and conventional methods of land survey. Positioning and height surveying network is treated separately. Practical implementation of the field work was carried out in two separate stages, for which we used in the first phase the kinematic (VRS) and static GNSS surveying method in order to compare the results of these two methods. In the second phase we have performed a terrestrial geodetic survey with the total station Leica TCR 805, the purpose of which was to determine whether the aforementioned methods achieve the required accuracy of the coordinate points of the primary positional and altitude geodetic network as a reference point for further setting out a building.
