Abstract
Namen prispevka je predstaviti izvedbo eksperimenta, s katerim ponazorimo proces fotosinteze. Poučevanje o procesih fotosinteze je ena izmed najzahtevnejših naravoslovnih tematik, predvsem zaradi svoje kompleksnosti in abstraktne narave. Pogosto se pri učencih pojavijo težave v razumevanju procesa fotosinteze, predvsem zaradi napačnih pojmovanj in neustreznega poenostavljanja. Za uspešno poučevanje te tematike se učiteljem priporoča praktični pouk. Zasnovali smo eksperiment, katerega namen je, da z njim zaznamo dnevno–nočne spremembe v vsebnosti kisika in ogljikovega dioksida v komori, kjer gojimo rastlino. V zaključku opredelimo možnosti uporabe opisanega eksperimenta pri pouku naravoslovnih predmetov v osnovni šoli.

Title:Optimization of an experiment showing processes of photosynthesis for science school subjects
Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to describe the experiment, which illustrates the process of photosynthesis. Teaching about processes of photosynthesis is one of the most difficult science themes, because of its complexity and abstract nature. Students often have difficulties understanding the processes of photosynthesis, mostly because of incorrect conceptualization and inappropriate simplification of the processes. For successful teaching of photosynthesis teachers are suggested to implement practical work. We designed an experiment to detect oxygen and carbon dioxide levels change during day-night cycle of photosynthesis in the chamber with a plant. In conclusion, implications for teaching science in primary school using the described experiment were discussed.
