In this thesis, we developed a system for the rehabilitation of precise movements of the upper limbs in a virtual reality environment. We conducted an overview of modern technologies used in the rehabilitation of upper limbs and virtual reality. For the production system, devices Oculus Rift and Leap Motion were chosen and compared with competing devices available on the market. In the programming environment Unity, we presented the development of the system as well as the connection process of the Oculus Rift and Leap Motion devices with the system itself. The developed solution has been tested in the rehabilitation practice and showed, that the device is useful and has great potential for functional rehabilitation of upper limbs. During the application use of the system, we enabled recording of data, which was later analyzed with the programming code developed in MATLAB, to process and present the results. We completed the thesis with the review of the system’s achievements and suggested the possibilities for future work.
