The following Master's thesis focuses on development of textbooks and types of textbooks. When creating a textbook, its authors are obliged to follow certain determinants concerning contents, form and cognition as well as didactic principles. Development has brought about a new textbook form - e-textbook. Thesis also focuses on the textbook rental scheme, especially its activities and supply. The textbook rental scheme of Vencelj Perko Primary School is introduced. Thesis also analyses the impact of textbook rental scheme on the use of workbooks.
