In the theoretical part of the thesis, groups of people with special needs are defined and explained. I have presented obstacles and disorders of pre-school children in details. I have introduced the basic acts which manage the status and position of people with special needs and their educational activities in kindergarten. With the help of questionnaires, I have established and analyzed general views of parents and personnel in education towards people with special needs, children with special needs, children with special needs in kindergartens, and the work of kindergarten teachers and the organization of kindergartens. In the final part, the conclusion, my advices on possible solutions for easier integration of children with special needs into mainstream kindergarten programs are presented.
