The thesis is focused to search for orthoptic curves. Orthoptic curve is set of points for which two tangents of a given curve meet at a right angle. Through the thesis we will learn about the characteristic of the chosen curves and their orthoptic curves and assess the problem on few cases.
In primary school, the problem can be illustrated by practical work in conjunction with the technical classes where the students produce wooden models and slide with right angle of the steel model along curves and in this way marking the top of the right angle.
